The 2011 Victorious Living Conference is a 2-day Christian Women’s Conference focused on educating, encouraging and inspiring Women of God to live victoriously in their daily lives for Jesus Christ!

The Featured Guest Artist will be Grammy Nominated Gospel Recording Artist Martha Munizi!

The event aims to create an environment where women can be inspired and encouraged to continue to grow in their faith and experience personal growth.

The Victorious Living Conference is hosted by Rohi Christian Church.

Rohi Christian Church is a multicultural, discipleship-oriented, community-based church that worships God and shares the unconditional love of Jesus Christ to all people. Our kingdom agenda is to minister to God through worship, minister to the body through service, and minister to the world through evangelism.

Keynote speakers that will be encouraging and uplifting those in attendance are Sheyna L. Heard, Senior Pastor at Rohi Christian Church, Tasha Smith, Actress, seen in Tyler Perry’s ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ & ‘Jump the Broom’, and Dr. Jasmin Sculark, Founder & President of Daughters of Thunder Ministry.

Speakers

Sheyna L. Heard

Pastor Sheyna L. Heard is the Senior Pastor of Rohi Christian Church. She hosts 2 television shows: Voices of Victory on Comcast Cable Channel 15 in the Bay Area andTransforming Word, a national television program on the NRB Network. She is a dynamic, powerful and Spirit-filled minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Sheyna has been involved in Christian ministry since 1995. She is a founding member of Rohi Christian Church and was ordained as a minister in July 2004. On October 5, 2008, her husband, Pastor Jeffery S. Heard went home to be with the Lord. It was at this time that the Lord called Sheyna to be the Senior Pastor of Rohi Temple Of Reconciliation.

She is a single mother of two dynamic little boys. She believes that her first ministry is to her family and serves as a basketball and baseball coach for her children’s sports teams.

She has served in Rohi Christian Church as the Worship Leader, womens ministry coordinator, youth and young adult coordinator, and church administrator. She has taught Adult Sunday school classes, discipleship classes and preaches a dynamic word on Sunday mornings.

Pastor Sheyna is also an avid business woman. She is the President and CEO of Rohi Alternative Community Outreach, a non-profit organization designed to help meet the needs of youth in the East San Jose Community. She manages over 40 people of staff and volunteers. She is an entrepreneur with a thriving Real Estate Investment business. A native of St.Louis, MO, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and she holds a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Tasha Smith

Tasha Smith was born in Camden, New Jersey and was raised by a single mother. She has a twin sister, named Sidra Smith.

In an interview with Essence magazine, Smith stated that she was once a heavy drug abuser. Smith said, “I used to do drugs every day…I used between the ages of 19 and 25.” She confessed to having smoked “two packs of cigarettes a day”, to having “[marijuana] every day” and to “[using] cocaine three times a week.” She attributed her victory over drugs to “the grace of God”.

Smith is a Christian now and was previously an atheist. In an interview with EURweb.com, Smith discussed her conversion from atheism to Christianity: “When I was 25 I had an encounter with God because my father had gotten sick. I had a time where I really challenged God, like, if you’re really God you’ll show me such-and-such’…I was going through this whole thing where I questioned whether God was real or not. I really needed God to be real because I was feeling so depressed and so unhappy, I felt like if there isn’t a God [then] I have no reason to live…It was just a bad time in my life and God really showed up and met me where I was.”

Smith is known for her role in ‘Daddy’s Little Girls’, a Tyler Perry-directed movie, where she played the villain Jennifer. She next starred in Perry’s ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ alongside Janet Jackson and Jill Scott.

Smith has appeared on America’s Next Top Model, as an acting coach, helping the models with different scenes. Smith also has her own acting workshop, Tasha Smith’s Acting Workshop, in which she helps and coaches many aspiring actors.

Dr. Jasmin W. Sculark

Rev. Jasmin Sculark, better known as Rev. Jazz, is the Pastor of the historical 100+ year old Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in York PA. She is the first female to be called to pastor a Baptist church in York PA.

Rev. Jazz is a native of the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. Rev. Jazz accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age and shortly after accepted God’s calling upon her life and went into full time ministry.

She has been blessed by God and received a second invitation to come back and preach in Nigeria in 2006 following her first invitation in October of 2004. She has also traveled in September 2004 to visit and preach the Gospel in her native land, Trinidad.

Rev. Sculark is obedient to God’s Word to “study to show thyself approved”. In August 2005, she began studying at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, pursuing her Doctor of Ministry degree in the Booth, Scott and Williams Doctoral Group.

Rev. Jazz was an Associate at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus OH in 1999-2002 and served as the Minister of Ministry Development.

She is a graduate of the Practical Bible College in Vestal, NY; a graduate of the Washington Bible College in Lanham, MD and received her Masters in Theological Studies at the Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus OH. Rev. Jazz is currently a doctoral candidate at the United Theological Seminary for the Doctor of Ministry

She was licensed to Preach the Gospel on February 4, 1992 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Washington DC and received her Certificate of Ordination July 11, 1999 at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Columbus OH.

Her professional affiliations and community activities include being a board member for such notable organizations as the Coalition of 100 Black Women of York PA, Access York, South George Community Partnership, Advisory Board Member for The African American Pulpit; serves on the board of the Junior League of York, PA; serves on the cabinet of the Hampton Ministers’ Conference and former member of the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center.

  • Daughter of Thunder Ministry, Inc. Reverend Sculark is the founder and president of the Daughter of Thunder Ministry that assists the local church in providing holistic, life changing ministries to youths, singles, young adults and women. She travels this country preaching and teaching the Word of God. She is actively involved in church conferences as preacher, workshop presenter, conference speaker and ministry consultant.

She stands as Esther – A Woman for such a time as this. Her greatest desire is to be found faithful in the task God has given her. Her life scripture is I Thessalonians 5:24
